  3. Installation
  4.             On the Ethernet Installer disk is a folder called "Goodies".  In this folder is the LocalBridge Control Panel.  If you wish to install LocalBridge, drag it onto your System Folder.  System 7 will ask if it is OK to copy it into your Control Panels Folder.  Click "OK".

  6. Using LocalBridge
  7.             LocalBridge lets a user link one device on the Mac's LocalTalk port to an extended network such as EtherTalk or TokenTalk.  
  8.             Open the LocalBridge Control Panel and make sure that the "On" button is clicked.

  20.             On the Mac which has the LocalBridge software running, make sure the Network Control Panel is set to an extended protocol (ie., EtherTalk, TokenTalk, etc.).  After you restart the Mac, one LocalTalk device connected to the host Mac will have complete access to the extended network.  The bridged LocalTalk device will appear as if it is on the extended network. 
  21.             If the device being bridged is a Mac, it will have access to all extended network services including file, mail and print servers.  In addition, all extended network nodes will be able to access the bridged Mac as if it was on the extended network.
  22.             If the device being bridged is a LocalTalk printer or other network device, it will appear in the Chooser as if it was on the extended network.
